About this Fort Bragg guide

Fort Bragg Neighborhoods is an information resource for service members and families with orders to Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The pages are about the gates, the 2026 housing allowance for this duty station, and six towns: Fayetteville, Hope Mills, and Spring Lake in Cumberland County, and Southern Pines, Pinehurst, and Aberdeen in Moore County.

The site is published by Weaver Texas as an independent information resource. It is not a real estate service, a lending service, or a legal service. Read the sale bands, drive times, and tax rates the way the methodology describes them. A band is a middle range of recorded 2026 sales. A drive time is a Monday morning range to a named open gate, and it leaves out the line at the ID check. An assessed value is not a sale price.

The first fact on the home page is the All American Gate closure. Gate 5 and the Gruber Road bridge closed at 5 a.m. on July 27, 2026, for freeway work expected to take up to 24 months, including repair of settlement where the All American Freeway was built over an old landfill. Town pages measure the drive to Yadkin Road or Honeycutt Road because those gates are open 24 hours. The base guide has the hour table. The BAH page has housing area NC182, which follows duty-station ZIP 28310 no matter which of the six towns the house is in.

Older documents, maps, and school pages may still say Fort Liberty. The installation’s name is Fort Bragg. The namesake is Pfc. Roland L. Bragg.

Name and closure sources are listed on the methodology page, with the check dates.
